The Magical Mystery Tour has begun. Today the Magic Bus transported me away from Kokomo Island and I boarded a plane for\u2026 hummmm\u2026 if I told you where I landed, that would give too much away. So here\u2019s a hint. If you recognize this skyline then you will know where I am.<\/p>\n\n\n

If you recognize it\u2026 shhhhhhhh! Don\u2019t give it away yet. You\u2019ll spoil it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I suppose I shouldn\u2019t hype this one too much. I mean\u2026 \u201cMagical Mystery Tour\u201d sounds like something unusual or extraordinary. And it isn\u2019t. The upcoming Ho Chi Minh Trail Ride<\/em><\/a><\/strong> through Laos is one of those \u201conce in a lifetime\u201d adventures\u2026 but not this one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So\u2026 why didn\u2019t I name this adventure something else? Well, first of all, I like the Beatles. When I first thought about a title, the song was playing:<\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cThe Magical Mystery Tour…<\/strong><\/em><\/h4>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Is coming to take you away.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/h4>\n

I also needed to keep what I was up to a secret. So a \u201cMystery tour\u201d seemed to make sense. The reason for the secret is I\u2019m keeping it a surprise for someone. It\u2019s not really that big of a deal, but the idea is putting a smile on my face and I hope it puts a smile on my friend\u2019s face too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I suppose it’s all a bit silly but I’m hiding this by going incognito\u2026 disguise and all. \u00a0Here\u2019s the disguise:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m not sure if that\u2019s enough of a disguise. I mean\u2026 just putting on a pair of bug-eyed sunglasses may not be enough. I\u2019m sure those of you who know me will recognize me right off. And for those of you that don\u2019t know me\u2026 no, I\u2019m not father time. Here\u2019s a hint: In my youth, I was part of a \u201cgarage band.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s all for now. The adventure doesn\u2019t start until tomorrow. So since tomorrow will be Day 1, I guess you can call this Day 0\u2026 Day oh.. day-a-a-a-oh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
