Tequila shots are free flowing here and in all the watering holes.<\/p><\/div>\n
Today was no different. \u201cAll aboard\u201d was at 5:30 PM\u2026 SHIP\u2019S TIME!!!! I\u2019m sure the clock down at Senior Frogs\u2026\u00a0 or Margaritaville\u2026 or Tres Amigos showed 4:30. In a little booze induced gibberish speak, folks ordered, \u201cOnnnne more-o fur da road-o\u201d.<\/p>\n
A few minutes after \u201cAll aboard\u201d time came the announcements over the loud speaker\u2026 \u201cWould Mr DockRunner please call guest services at 7777.\u201d They went on to call out around a dozen names. A few minutes later they called the same names again. A couple of minutes before the scheduled sail away time, the ship\u2019s horn blew one long blast. I\u2019m sure that blast was heard all over Cozumel.<\/p>\n
A couple of minutes later four people appeared at the end of the dock. \u201cRun Forest, Run.\u201d They tried to run, but it was a feeble effort. I don\u2019t think their legs were working very well, but they tried. People on board the ship looking out from their balconies and upper decks cheered them on.<\/p>\n
Another announcement went out. A bunch of people were still missing. A few more appeared at the end of the dock. They didn\u2019t give it any effort to run. They seemed to act as if they were proud to be late. By now we were 15 minutes past sail away time. Since they didn\u2019t make any attempt to run, they were booed when they got near the ship.<\/p>\n
Finally the ship blew its horn three times and started to move away from the dock. I\u2019m writing this just before going to dinner\u2026 late seating\u2026 and the announcements continue\u2026 \u201cWould Mr. and Mrs. MissedTheBoat please contact guest services at 7777.\u201d Well\u2026 at least they can now go back for \u201cone more\u201d at Senior Frogs and enjoy their evening in Cozumel.<\/p>\n
